Universal Monsters Coming to Entropia

Universal Studios is to bring official versions of “its” classic monsters to virtual reality.

Working with Special Entertainment Events (SEE) the company will be producing a Universal Monster planet for Entropia Universe virtual world. Players will be able to become a “virtual van Helsing” and hunt down creatures including Frankenstein’s Monster, Dracula, the Mummy and the Invisible Man.

Of course Universal didn’t create many of these, they were around a long time before the studio. However Hollywood did create our modern image of many of them with the classic performances of actors such as Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff.

Hopefully the new virtual world will be a tribute to these greats rather than just another generic horror sim.
