Gravity Jack Creates Augmented Office

Software developer Gravity Jack has created what it describes as “the world’s first augmented reality (AR) office indoors”. The company used its AR SDK to create the augmented office where information sources can be accessed via the screen of your smartphone.
Aaron Lennon of Gravity Jack said:
Our new software development kit has allowed us to create the world’s first augmented office. From RSS feeds coming out of the walls, to twitter feeds floating in the air, to stock graphs when you look at a NASDAQ ticker, to the world times showing up when you look at a clock. This technology allows us to do augmented reality in any indoor space and even in spaces with low or no light.
Obviously this proof of concept is impractical for real use – pointing your iPhone at the wall is hardly the most efficient way of accessing an RSS feed! However Gravity Jack is thinking ahead to a world where we have convenient wearable AR HUDs and “everywhere you look, everyone you look at and everything you see has information and data floating near it, over it, or hiding things you don’t want to see”.
