Hatsune Miku in Tinier Me Selfy Town

If you thought the line between real and virtual couldn’t get much blurrier then how about this: Tinier Me’s virtual world Selfy Town is to start selling virtual goods based on a real world virtual popstar!
Hatsune Miku is a virtual popstar created Crypton Future Media. Her voice is available as a Yamaha voicebank, created by sampling actress Fujita Saki, and she also has an anime style image. The “Hatsune Miku movement” is apparently a big hit in Japan where fans create their own Miku songs and videos.
Now users of Tinier Me will be able get hold of Hatsune Miku gear in world, including virtual posters and her distinctive costume. Other stuff will include kit and outfits of her virtual friends Meiko, Kaito, Kagamine Rin, Len and Luka. There will also an in-world live concert.
The Hatsune Miku promotion in Tinier Me runs until the end of November 2010.
A real world virtual singer performing live in a virtual world… my brain hurts.
