MagiCam Augmented Camera iPhone App

Quapps Interactive has released version 2.0 of its MagiCam app for the iPhone. MagiCam is described as:

an application for iPhone and iPod Touch that allows you to take ultra realistic live photographs with an additional prop such as U.FO’s, Ghost’s, Silly Haircuts and fantastic masks to create the most entertaining and realistic photographs you have ever seen.

The app has over 50 props that you can add to your iPhone pic in realtime then “scale, move, blend and rotate the object until you are happy with it and take that amazing photograph”.

Of course you could do all of this via post processing with Photoshop. However MagiCam allows those without access to or skills in digital manipulation to create augmented images whilst out and about.

New features in MagiCam version 2.0 include editing of existing photos and the addition of multiple props to a single picture.
