Cute Pricing for PS3 Eyepet

Good news for those of us in Europe eagerly waiting to buy the PS3 EyePet augmented reality (ar) game. Sony has announced the price: 49.99 Euros.

That’s pretty good when you discover that for that money you also get the Playstation Eye camera! Presumably Sony are using this bundle as a marketing device. Tied to the recent drop in the price of PS3 the EyePet might be the breakthrough game that the console’s been waiting for.

Here in the UK Amazon currently have the EyePet software only package for pre-order at £19.99, the price for the bundled version with camera isn’t currently set.

It was previously announced that the Eyepet release date in Europe will be October 2nd, however on Amazon this has now slipped to October 30th. Dates and prices for the US market are not yet known.
